How might we see beyond HMW?

How Might We _________??

The most commonly used framework to tackle a problem and articulate a design challenge might not be painting the complete picture.

Right from “HMW end poverty” to “HMW create another social media app”,

💡HMW approaches problems from a solutionist perspective rather than an exploration of the context and ecosystem.

💡”WE” assumes that people in the room and designers are the center of the universe, fit for solving problems for people even when they have limited understanding of the issue.

Are there other questions we can ask to enrich the problem solving process instead of solely asking HMW ? I could think of a few, posted here.

Curious to know your thoughts, especially in the world of prompt engineering where framing a question is a superior skill.
